I deleted all my "Fan of" pages and likes, blanked my profile, and stopped updating it. There's a little too much critical mass there to abandon it, but I barely even check it anymore. Maybe this is helped by the fact that few people I'd like to keep up with really mess with it anymore. If I had lots of friends and family updating it all the time, might be a different story.
